Safe Ways To Travel This Summer
There isn’t a time in anyone’s memory that we’ve had a strong desire to do something new, see something different, or experience a new adventure, but be held back by regulations and fear…
Many trips with family and friends were cancelled, or postponed to ‘next year’ in hopes of everything being ‘back to normal’ in a year from then. We’re ¼ of the way through 2021, and while there is some hope, there is still a lot of work to be done before we feel ‘normal’ in our everyday lives, and comfortable planning our next holidays.
We want you to travel, safely.
Early in 2020 Best Western Hotels & Resorts implemented mandatory enhanced cleaning protocols. Here is what that looks like for us here at Best Western Plus Rose City Suites;
- We are paying particular attention to high touch point areas, to include key cards, public area computers, elevator doors and buttons, door handles, locks and latches, light switches, desk surfaces, telephones, television remote controls, and bathroom fixture handles.
- We have heighted sanitizing attention to the common areas, such as the front desk, service items, and fitness center equipment.
- You will find sanitizer units at all entrances & front desk.
- Guest rooms remain vacant for at least 24hrs before cleaning by our team member who is masked and gloved at all times.
Team members have daily temperature checks, and must get medical attention for any flu like symptom before returning to work.
When considering your next vacation, consider choosing a location that is within 2 hours drive, so there is no need to stop at the gas station or public washrooms before arriving at your destination. Choose a location that has plenty of outdoor activity options, such as swimming, kayaking, paddle boards, a zoo, outdoor patios for dining, natural sights.
After you have decided on a few things you want to do, pick the right accommodation for your family. A facility with breakfast included to limit the amount of take out (contact with others). A hotel with suites is another great option, allowing you to bring food from your home to cook in your suite and limit take out. Suites also give you more space to spread out and comfortably relax.
Our kitchenette suites provides the basic cooking surface of a range and microwave, with cookware rentals only $10 for the stay. Upgraded suites with kitchen offers the large fridge, stove, microwave and cooking utensils in the suite for your convenience.
With flexible cancellation policies, start planning that much needed time away, and we hope to see you soon. Stay safe.
