Every November the Wineries of Niagara on the Late have this great festival to bring people out to the wineries on weekends.  For under $50 a person, you buy a passport online to visit close to 25 wineries (the actual numbers vary a little each year) and each winery features one of their wines and pairs with sample size dish.

The passports are good for one weekend, or like I’ve done in the past, we go on two separate weekends to get the most out of the passport.

My husband and I did this a couple of years in a row with Wine and Chocolate (February) and once in November for this event. My favorite part is the variety in the sample foods from each winery, it can be something like candy coated popcorn served with a sparking rose, pulled pork with slaw & pickle with a pinot, even had a grilled cheese with ice wine!
